STQT Anglers Have Extra Chance to Win!

GLA_Extravaganza_logo.pngThanks to the Grand Lake Association and the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, the Colorado Bass Nation anglers attending the 2014 State Team Qualifying Event have a chance to participate in a tagged fish event on Grand Lake, OK, and could win thousands of dollars in cash and prizes!

This event runs from April 1 - May 18, 2014.  500 fish have been tagged with prizes worth a minimum of $50!  Visit the website to register.  Registration cost is $20 and you will be given a badge number.  One tagged fish per day allowed.  Official rules and registration information at the GLA Extravaganza webite.

You won't want to miss a chance at $250,000 in the Grand Lake Association Extravaganza, sponsored by the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa.​There will also be chances for $100,000, $50,000, $25,000, $10,000, $5,000 and several $1,000 chances.*See official rules.  Plus all 500 fish will be tagged with a prize and they will be released throughout Grand Lake. ​ Prizes will be a minimum worth of $50.

You must Register and Purchase a Commemorative Key Chain Badge to Participate.  Badges can be purchased through May 18th.  So come spend a few days on Grand Lake enjoying some of the best fishing in the country and who knows, you might just catch a tagged bass.

Grand Lake has been the home of the 2013 B.A.S.S. Bassmaster Classic, the 2012 American Bass Anglers National Championship, the Bass Federation National Championship, the FLW Wal-Mart Tour, the 2013 Professional Anglers Association, the 2014 National Bass Anglers Association National Championship, and hundreds of local tournaments.

Now it is home to the Grand Lake Association Extravaganza, ​The World's Largest Tagged Bass Event!

It is easy to participate!

When You Catch a Tagged Bass...
1.  Take a picture of the bass with the tag attached.

2.  Take a close up of the tag and its code.

3.  You can remove the tag and release the fish (you may do this too if you    are in a tournament and want to cull your bass

4.  If you need assistance you can visit one of our participating marinas or bait and tackle shops around Grand Lake.
Marinas - Cedar Port (Disney - by Pensacola Dam) Indian Hills (Bernice) or Tera Miranda (Monkey Island)

Bait and Tackle Shops - Grand Lake Sports Center (Grove), Littlefield's(Grove or Monkey Island) (Near Martins Landing!), Ket-chum Bait and Tackle (Just north of Ketchum on Highway 82), The Y Store (Jay).

5.  Register your tag at

6.  You will receive an email on whether or not you caught a grand prize bass.

7.  Contact the Grand Lake Association at 918-786-2289 to get your donated prize.

8.  If you catch a Grand Prize fish worth $10,000 or more, you will be subject to a polygraph test.
