Ft. Carson Kid’s Fishing Day Needs Your Help

Posted by nation on August 1, 2017

Ft. Carson Kid’s Fishing Day was formed in co-operation with the Colorado BASS Nation and other organizers as a way to support the service men and women and their families.  This event takes the kids of serving military personnel for a few hours of fishing fun at Pueblo Reservoir.

On August 12, 2017 the Colorado BASS Nation and organizers of the Ft. Carson Kid’s Fishing Day need volunteers to help with he event.  Please contact Tom Grace via email or phone (below) if you can help out with this worthwhile event.

Tom posted this information on Facebook:

“We will be needing volunteers to take our kids out for a couple of hours of fishing on August 12 at Pueblo Reservoir for the Ft. Carson Kid’s Fishing Day. This is an annual event and a big deal for these families. It's a small thing that we can do for the sacrifices these families make to give us the freedoms that we enjoy. Please contact me to volunteer a few hours of your time. I have 60 rod and reel combinations for these kids to keep and we will have lure packets - all you need is a craft to accommodate two or three kids per boat. Catered lunch following the fishing. Please contact me.
