It is with great sadness that I send this information along to you all. Please pass this along to your members.

Clyde Steven Ealey, 65 years old, took his final fishing trip, to heaven, from his home in Pueblo, Colorado on September 29, 2015. He was born on September 29, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas to Hazel Jo-Dell Griffin Ealey and Samuel Orville Ealey Sr. Steve was preceded in death by his wife Nora Leigh Biggs Ealey, his mother Hazel Jo-Dell Griffin Ealey, his father Samuel Orville Ealey Sr. and his sister Cheryl Ann Ealey Rawls.

He is survived by his loving friend and companion Wanda Iden, his son Steven Samuel Ealey (wife Elisabeth), his daughter Stacy Leigh Ealey, his daughter Dawn Dalee Youngren, his daughter Laura Slaughter, his brother Samuel Orville Ealey Jr. (wife Jeanette), his sister Robin Lea Ealey Casper and also by his 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 42 nieces and nephews.

Steve loved his family and was a wonderful brother, husband, father and grandfather. He served as The Commander of The American Legion Post #2 in Pueblo, Colorado. He did Karaoke for the American Legion and he loved to sing as well!

He took his passion even further to help his community through the club with a volunteer program teaching children how to fish and sharing his great love of fishing. When his health continued to fail the Pikes Peak Bass Masters Club came to his home and presented him with the Sportsman of the Year Award.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Steve Ealey family gofundme account online at gofund.me/9w5cy27c or at the American Legion Hall in Pueblo at the service and luncheon.

We invite everyone to have lunch after the service at the American Legion. We would like to extend a special thank you to Linda Biondolillo and the ladies at the American Legion and Danny Pacheco for their donation of time and expense for this luncheon. Also to the American Patriot Guard Riders for everything they have done to honor Clyde.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Sangre De Cristo Hospice , and a special thank you to Lisa Montoya for all of the care, love and support! The comfort you gave Steve and his family was above and beyond.
