CBN STQT at Grand Lake, OK: Day Two Report

Posted by on June 12, 2013

2_Club.Year_Trophy.JPG    Matt Massey (DBM) takes the lead as Day two continues the 2013 CBN STQT.  The hot weather was compounded by an added condition that, according to Audrey McKenney, has kept some of the anglers from
reaching the locations that they fished on Day One, high winds.

Dropping water levels may also be a game changer for some anglers, and about half the Top 13 changed names.   There is one more day to go, though, and it is still open to most to get a good sack and make the Colorado State Team
The Big Bass for Day Two was caught by Bob Brantlinger (SWCB) with a 4.91 largemouth.
The Top 6 after the final day will qualify for the Colorado State Team as boaters, and the next 6 will qualify as non-boaters with the 13th place person as an alternate.  This team, along with the Colorado High School Champions, will represent Colorado at the 2014 BASS Nation Western Divisional for a chance to become the Colorado State Champion and move on to represent the state at the BASS Nation National Championship and a shot at attending the Bassmasters Classic!

The top 13 standings after Day Two are:

Matt Massey (DBM)         32.66
Brad Bennett (RMBC)      28.52
Scott Sheldon (CBC)        26.71
