CBN is affiliated with the Bass Angler's Sportsmen's Society (B.A.S.S.), the B.A.S.S. Nation, and is formed by many bass clubs throughout the state. You are encouraged to join a local bass club and become part of this fishing community. Links to bass clubs can be found on the 'Bass Clubs' page. Join a club and you could be the next local angler to go all the way to the Bassmasters Classic!

50-Pounds of Sooner Bass Earns Derek Phillips the Win!

Derek_Phillips_at_Grand_2014.jpgLeading wire-to-wire, Derek Phillips wins the STQT by a wide margin at Oklahoma’s Grand Lake O’ Cherokee’s.   Preparation, research and a game plan were important to this win.  Jon Webb made a big jump into 2nd Place on the final day and Chris Rockwell remained steady throughout finishing in 3rd.

Frank_V_during_practice.jpgToday launched the first day of the Colorado Bass Nation State Team Qualifying Tournament at Grand Lake, OK.  This three day event will seat a Team to represent the Colorado Bass Nation at the 2015 BASS Nation Western Divisional event.  Cold temps and high winds have put a damper on the practice days but today the competition gets real, and the Top 12 will make the State Team!
